In September 2004 the Queensland Journal of Educational Research merged with Issues in Educational Research. A full archive is now in development, to recognise and preserve the substantial contribution that QJER made to scholarly publishing of educational research in Australia, from its inception in 1985, as Queensland Researcher, until its final volume in 2003. NOTES FOR INTENDING CONTRIBUTORS

Articles in all areas of educational research and evaluation are solicited. Contributors are encouraged to see the journal as providing opportunity for interaction with fellow researchers. Accordingly, papers on educational research and evaluation the developmental stage, in progress or completed are invited.

As A Queensland-based journal with links to a national organisation, articles to do with educational research in all States are welcomed. In writing such articles, contributors are asked to consider, where appropriate, the Queensland context in which the majority of the readership is located.

Queensland Researcher is indexed in the Australian Education Index and is registered with the National Library of Australia.
